I gotta get one for my wife.
I've been on a "mastering" frenzy. So the first "Request" album is back up. It has been cleaned and levelled to the best of my ability given its home recording origins. Also loaded is a classical album titled "Hannibal". This album once had its very own artistsignal page but I decided to keep things simple and have everything of mine in one place. I consider "Hannibal" my very best work to date. It is my personal favourite. Here is a question for all you genealogists out there: how many of you can trace your roots back to Hannibal Barca (247 – 183/182/181 BC)???? Or his brother Hasdrubal???

I just loaded all four of the original "genealogy" songs back up to ArtistSignal. This time they have been "Digitally Mastered" to the best quality one could pull out of "Demo". Stop by the site and grab your copy today! Or come by for a "Listen" and consider dropping in a "Vote". Enjoy your day!
The Genealogy Widower
On the afternoon of Christmas Eve in 1818, in a village high in the Austrian Alps, Joseph Mohr (December 11, 1792 – December 4, 1848), the local Catholic priest wrote some appropriate stanzas for the season. Only the Church pipe organ was broken and could not be repaired on time for that evening. So organist Franz Gruber wrote a simple tune, setting Joseph Mohr's words to an arrangement for a tenor, a bass and two acoustic guitars. That evening, during a midnight service, "Silent Night" was heard for the very first time.
New to my page I invite you to listen and download my blues version of this classic song. No voting or liking required. My Christmas gift to all of you!

Last round I had a voter reward where if someone voted 100 times they would get a cover song of their choice recorded and posted to the track list...Today I am proud to honour my commitment to SoulOf Soleil. For her dedication, and for voting a whopping 100 times, her request "California Dreaming" is now track 3 of "ArtistSignal on Demand Volume 2". The song was a lot of fun to make. I hope you all enjoy it!
Last round I had a voter reward where if someone voted 100 times they would get the song of their choice recorded and posted to the track list...I have a total of 4 tracks on the "To Do" list from this. Well minus this one. Today I am proud to honour my commitment to Kristin Moura! www.artistsignal.com/kristinmoura For her dedication, and for voting a whopping 100 times, her request "Barbie Girl" is now track 2 of "ArtistSignal on Demand Volume 2". The song is great fun so come take a listen and have a laugh on me!
Its no secret that I have been putting together the the long awaited full length Genealogy album...10 tracks including new versions of The Genealogy Widower, Ten More Minutes, Who Do You Think You Are and Genealogy Gems...New titles include; Stone Without A Name, 8th Great Grandparent Score, The National Archive Blues, The Epic Zombie Battle For The Big Tree, 23andme Superfan and a blues cover of I Am My Own Grandpa.....You'll be helping me get this album out faster by purchasing one of these mugs...Even I understand that $25 bucks is steep for a mug...but its for a good cause...the proceeds will be going towards the mastering of the new album...I only need to sell 25 of them to pay for this...So if you could help me out here that would be FANTASTIC!...I'll throw in a free digital copy of the album too! Thanks in advance!
First attempt at editing without a key frame track - My lips are almost in sync...lol
I had forgotten that I had tagged myself on Artistsignal as a classical musician...your allowed to pick 3 genres for your profile...so I was looking for an excuse to do some classical stuff and post it...and well it turns out that I am already #1 on the Classical Artistsignal chart...so I better post classical stuff ASAP I think...O Fortuna by Carl Orff is totally coming...This post is a shout out to all of you for classical music requests...post them HERE...and I'll try to record some...Thank for Voting!
So I'm sure you all noticed the 100 vote reward...well he who votes 100 times gets to have thier choice of song recorded and up loaded to ArtistSignal....Since posting this reward the threats have been coming in....threats of Justin Beaber, Gangnam Style and now this....Well my dear friend Kristin is 5 votes away and has requested Aguas "Barbie Girl"...So being the good sport that I am I've already started recording it...COME ON BARBIE LETS GO PARTY!!!!! Please visit Kristin's page and thank her for her good sense of humour...also please return the100 vote favor if you would..... https://artistsignal.com/kristinmoura
I should consider it a threat I think...but one of my friends (who loyally votes) informed me that I should learn this song because when he hits 100 votes it is coming my way...All I have to say is NOT IF ONE OF YOU GETS THERE FIRST...haha...Come and Vote and have a great day!
Just uploaded my version of the Jim Croce classic. Thank you Deborah Hamilton for your request. What a great song. What a complete pleasure to play! Its a free download. You'll find it as track 9 on my "ArtistSignal On Demand" album.
Just a little reminder that voting is back at ArtistSignal..$10000 to the artist with the most votes every month.....There are lots of new musicians and tons of new music. So come on back and check it out and VOTE VOTE VOTE https://artistsignal.com/thegenealogywidower
Testing, Testing...is this thing on? Good morning everyone. I've been told that I can now communicate with everyone that ever liked my ArtistSignal page by posting just like I am now....Well that is great news because I really wanted to to thank all of you for all your support in Round 2.0 and until now I could not...So here goes...THANK YOU ALL!!!...So I guess after some rearranging ArtisSignal has brought back their Great music contest...And...I have a boat load of new music that I could start uploading....So my question to you is should I go for it? and would some of you/all of you come back and give me a vote or two? If I should go for it come and vote and leave me a comment too...the Facebook "like" system is blind to me on my side and it would be nice to have a face to go along with your vote even if you only just say "Hi!"....Thanks again and have a great day!
